I'm sad to announce that I must discontinue the Jitterbuggin' contests. Of course, I haven't had one in a while so I'm sure most of you were suspecting this. The reasons are many, but please know that I have loved all the fabulous work you've entered on Jitterbuggin' and wish I could keep it going. Perhaps later I might add a special contest or two. Until then, keep being creative!

Use the sketch (I thought it was a great one to use up some scraps....yeah!)......include yellow somewhere on your card.....and add something with stripes! As always, include something "Cricut".....and make it happy!

2. Show me your primary colors! That means use blue, red, and yellow on your card.

Happy birthday to me! Yep, today is my birthday and to celebrate, we are going to craft "My Favorite Things!" Frogs are one of my favorite things....and the colors blue and green. So now you know where this week's sketch comes from! I also like to learn new techiniques so I've included one of those as well.

2. Use your favorite thing as the subject - your favorite animal, your favorite food, your favorite character, etc.

I'm at the beach this week, and since I'm surrounded by all this glorious nature, what better inspiration for this week's sketch?! So this week, use the sketch to create a beach themed card. Easy, peasy one.....just a few little "musts!"

Follow the sketch: substitute at will, but it must look like the sketch

Use a Cricut cut of something from the beach. Animals, flip flops, shells, whatever.......

Use red and yellow somewhere on your card.

Sketch One - Let's Jitterbug!

Here is the first sketch at Jitterbuggin' Challenges.

One lucky participant in this week's challenge will win a new Cuttin' Up cartridge!

***Special Fun*** Since this is the first week of our challenge, ALL entries will be entered into the drawing for a free Cricut Cartridge. Top Three winners will be entered 3 times each.

   Remember the rules:

1. Follow the sketch. Flip it, turn it, but keep it recognizable.

2. Follow the recipe. This week's recipe is
      -use a bug from any Cricut cartridge
      -use pink and purple
                  (they don't have to be
                   your main colors -
                   just include them)
      -add a flower

3. Link your entry by 11:59 p.m. EST on Wednesday, May 26. Directions for how to link are on the sidebar!
