Jitterbuggin' News!

I'm sad to announce that I must discontinue the Jitterbuggin' contests. Of course, I haven't had one in a while so I'm sure most of you were suspecting this. The reasons are many, but please know that I have loved all the fabulous work you've entered on Jitterbuggin' and wish I could keep it going. Perhaps later I might add a special contest or two. Until then, keep being creative!

Hey Jitterbuggers! We will have a special Spring Fling contest in April. All the details will be announced on April 1 (no foolin'!) and the winner will receive any Cricut Lite Cartridge of choice! Rainbows and Butterflies!

Little bit late today with posting.....sorry! But what a fun, fun challenge! The theme is rainbows......rainbows themselves.....or rainbow colors. Make any card....any sketch.....use a rainbow or rainbow colors......add a butterfly....and emboss something. I can't wait to see your beautiful creations.

Go Hog Wild!

March 1 is National Pig Day....who knew??? But let's celebrate it !!! This week's challenge is to make a card with a pig on it.........use at least 2 different patterned papers......and add some buttons! Any sketch......even a shape card is okay. Have fun.....use that Cricut......and be creative!

Since we are celebrating the birthdays of our presidents this week, let's make some birthday cards. This week, you need to follow the sketch, make it a birthday card, and add some rickrack somewhere. Don't forget you can cut rickrack with your Cricut too........ Use that Cricut for something....be creative....and have fun!

Sketch 32 - Let the Sunshine In!

Aren't you ready for something bright and cheery? I know I'm tired of the grey, gloomy weather and want some sunshine in my life. So this week's challenge is to let the sunshine in! Use the sketch (I thought it was a great one to use up some scraps....yeah!)......include yellow somewhere on your card.....and add something with stripes! As always, include something "Cricut".....and make it happy!

By the way, the images for my sample card and header came from Everyday Mom Ideas. She has some wonderful free digital kits and other wonderful creative "goodies."

I Want Chocolate.....Brown That Is!

This week we are making creations out of BROWN.....and one other accent color! You can use any sketch.....any Cricut cut......all the white/cream/brown accents you want......BUT your card should be based on brown and only one other major color. Brown with pink???? Brown with aqua????? Brown and yellow????? Whatever strikes you as wonderful.....just be creative! And - one more requirement - add a bow somewhere on your card. That's it. Entries are due by January 25 at 11:59 p.m EST

Sketch 29 - Let it Snow!

Happy New Year Jitterbuggers! Here's the first challenge of 2011, and a reminder of the guidelines.

Challenges will be posted on Wednesday.

All challenges must include the use of a Cricut cut.

Top 3 and one random winner from each challenge will

be entered into the monthly drawing.

Now on to this week's challenge:

1. Follow the sketch.

2. Use blue somewhere on your card.

3. Include something snow related - snowman, snowflake, penguin, etc.
