Sketch 29 - Let it Snow!

Happy New Year Jitterbuggers! Here's the first challenge of 2011, and a reminder of the guidelines.

Challenges will be posted on Wednesday.

All challenges must include the use of a Cricut cut.

Top 3 and one random winner from each challenge will

be entered into the monthly drawing.

Now on to this week's challenge:

1. Follow the sketch.

2. Use blue somewhere on your card.

3. Include something snow related - snowman, snowflake, penguin, etc.

You have until midnight on January 11, 2011 (1-11-11 ;) to add your entry. Hint: If you finish your card before Sunday night, this challenge will also work for the one at Fantabulous Cricut this week!!

Up a Tree!

This week has an easy sketch to follow......and the focus is on trees. Top 3 and one random entry will be entered to win Thanksgiving (Solutions cartridge).

1. Follow the sketch!

2. Add a tree - any kind of tree!!!!

3. Add something yellow!

Don't forget: your entry must have something Cricut on it. Post your creations in Inlinkz below!

Wise Guys

This challenge is all about owls....and Cricut has plenty of those to choose from!! Pick your favorite and showcase it on a card.....sketch is optional, but your card should include a circle and a square. That's it......let's see how creative you can be with those cute little wise guys!!

1. Sketch is OPTIONAL this week - I've put one on here as a suggestion....use it or not. BUT do include a circle and a square somewhere on your card.

2. Add your favorite owl: Cricut, Stampin' Up (gotta love that punch), paper pieced or stamped.

3. Make sure there is something Cricut on your card.



You have until November 3 at 11:59 p.m. to get those entries in. Top 3 and a random selection will be placed in this month's drawing for the Thanksgiving solutions cartridge. Good luck and happy Jitterbuggin'!

Sketch 21 - The Pumpkin Patch

Now it's time for another regular challenge here at Jitterbuggin'. This week our focus in on pumpkins. Make sure to include one on your card. We are back on regular schedule now, running Thursday-Thursday. We will still have Top 3 and one random selection to be entered to win a cartridge. The next giveaway will be on November 19 and the cartridge is Thanksgiving Solutions - just in time for you to scrap all those great Thanksgiving photos you'll be taking. Here are the rules:

1. Follow the sketch!

2. Add at least one pumpkin somewhere on your card.

3. Emboss something, any type/any way.

4. You must include a Cricut cut too. Shouldn't be hard because Cricut has some fantastic pumpkins!!!

Sketch 19 - Happy Fall Y'all

It's Fall this week....so let's celebrate it here at Jitterbuggin'! This will be the last challenge for September so the monthly winner will be drawn next Thursday, September 30th. And there is going to be a special contest next month........so be sure to check back next week for the guidelines and details!

This week's guidelines:

1. Follow the sketch!

2. Add a Cricut Fall element: leaves, pumpkins, sunflowers, scarecrows, etc.

3. Add something plaid (remember this can be small.....just a ribbon is fine....)

Sketch 16 - My Favorite Things

Happy birthday to me! Yep, today is my birthday and to celebrate, we are going to craft "My Favorite Things!" Frogs are one of my favorite things....and the colors blue and green. So now you know where this week's sketch comes from! I also like to learn new techiniques so I've included one of those as well.

Here's this week's challenge:

1. Follow the sketch.

2. Use your favorite thing as the subject - your favorite animal, your favorite food, your favorite character, etc.

3. Use your two favorite colors.

Don't forget to use your Cricut!

****Added bonus: Here is a great tutorial on how to make a folded paper frame. This would fit perfectly in this sketch so if you're wanting some excitement, add one to your card. Here is the tutorial. ********

Happy Thursday everyone! This week we are going somewhere at Jitterbuggin'! Your challenge is to make a card using a vehicle. Get creative and show me that you're going places!

Follow the sketch - flip it/move it/rearrange it....but make sure the sketch shows.

Sketch 5 - Take Me Out to the Ballgame!

This week we are focusing on those all-too difficult "manly" cards - with a SPORTS theme!  Maybe you need a last minute Father's Day card, a masculine birthday card, or a quick teen card - well, here's the sketch for you. 

Easy rules this week:  
follow the sketch,
make it Sports themed,
add something "Cricut",
and use the color grey somewhere.

Sketch 4 - Bloom Where You are Planted!

Hey Crafters!   I really loved looking at everyone's monkeys!   This week we are changing things up to a "prettier" theme....flowers.
